Support PUSH!

It is our goal to develop PUSH! into a world-class festival, like our sister-festival, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, and to do this we need the support of two different sets of contributors: the audience and attendees of the festival, and our corporate and community contributors.

In exchange for helping with funding for the festival, there are numerous benefits to contributors depending on the level of investment, including all-access passes to the festival and Producers Party, local and regional media exposure, signage at the festival and in print promotion, on-site advertising and festival-goer exposure, and website links and social media engagement.

The Virginia Film Office is a passionate supporter of the PUSH! Film Festival in historic downtown Bristol TN/ VA! We congratulate the talented team behind this celebrated festival, and the community that makes this weekend possible.

Here in Virginia, we are immensely proud of two of our strongest assets in the film industry – our beautiful locations, and our homegrown talent – both prominently on display here in Bristol. PUSH! provides the unique opportunity for filmmakers from all corners to come together in an incomparably picturesque setting to celebrate the art of filmmaking. Film is a truly unique portal through which we can illuminate creativity and bring communities together, and is a significant contributor to the economy. The annual economic impact of Virginia’s film industry is $414 million, and it provides $20.1 million in state and local tax revenue for the Commonwealth, as well as more than 3,000 full-time jobs. Please reach out to our office if you are looking to film in Bristol, Southwest VA, or any region of our diverse Commonwealth – we are here for you.

Tennessee Film, Entertainment and Music Commission

The Tennessee Entertainment Commission is honored to be a part of the2ndAnnual PUSH! Film Festival. Bristol is truly a unique city of the South. It recognized early on the importance of preserving its historic architecture and protecting iconic landmarks. It has invested in urban planning, new technology & infrastructure. This is attracting a new generation of young entrepreneurs, artists, resources and most importantly cultivating a creative class. Film Festivals are a vital component to the development of a creative economy. Most importantly, it acts as a vehicle for filmmakers and film lovers to share their passion and support each other’s cinematic endeavors. But it also has the potential to provide an economic impact for Main Street, attract industry professionals and develop a long term, sustainable creative community. The Tennessee Entertainment Commission is proud to support Believe in Bristol and its efforts to advance the visual arts.pact for Main Street, attract industry professionals and develop a long-term, sustainable creative community. In the spring of 2015, we launched a successful Kickstarter Campaign, and the support we received from around the community — and beyond — helped make PUSH!'s first year possible.
