Our venues are state-of-the-art facilities specifically chosen because of their atmosphere to host films and workshops.
The Paramount Center for the Arts
518 State Street
The Paramount opened as a cinema in 1931 and is an excellent example of the art deco motion picture palaces of the late 1920s and early 1930s. It closed down in the 1970s, but was restored and reopened in 1991. The restoration retained the Paramount’s opulent, richly embellished interior, including Venetian-style murals and a wonderful art deco ambience. The Paramount is the main venue for PUSH! with a capacity of 750 seats.
The Birthplace of Country Music Museum
520 Birthplace of Country Music Way
The Birthplace of Country Music Museum (BCMM), an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, explores the history of the 1927 Bristol Sessions and their lasting impact on our music heritage. BCMM opened in August 2014 and is a state-of-the-art facility. Films will be shown in its Performance Theater. The Birthplace of Country Music Museum is the secondary film venue for the festival, and films will be shown in its 100-seat Performance Theater.
Bristol Public Library
701 Goode Street
The Bristol Public Library is active in the life of Bristol and its community, and provides a place to learn, read or just relax in a beautiful comforting atmosphere. The library is the site of the film-related workshops, and the capacity is around 100.
